Resolution made and passed by the Legislative Council under Section 4 of the Law Revision Ordinance, 1939, Ordin- ance No. 33 of 1939, on the 25th of July, 1940.
RESOLVED pursuant to section 4 of the Law Revision Ordinance, 1939, that the following Supplementary Schedule be added to that Ordinance :

Section 6-
(i) sub-section (1) is repealed and sub- sections (2) and (3) are renumbered is (1) and (2)
(ii) sub-section (1) as renumbered-- the words Whenever any person are sub- stituted for When any other person in
the first line.
Fourth Schedule-----
(a) regulation 2-the following is inserted at the end-
**, nor, when the number of emigrants on board exceeds fifty, unless there are on board a medical officer and interpreter duly approved by such Famigration Officer.";
(b) regulation 4, paragraph (7)—the word not is inserted immediately before be included " in the third line.
(2) Fifth Schedule, regulation ---the word "and" is repealed at the end of paragraph (2) and inserted at the end of paragraph (83) and the following is added—
** (4) * medical officer and interpreter duly approved by the Emigration Officer shall be carried where the number of emigrants on board exceeds fifty.".
Sixth Schedule. regulation 4, paragraph (7)—the word not is inserted immedi- ately before be included in the third line.
Section 2, paragraphs (b) and (c)-the following is substituted-
“(b) * Export means to take or rause to be taken out of the Colony by land, air or water, and includes the export of any- thing taken or sent from any country and brought into the Colony by land, air or water (whether or not landed or trans- shipped in the Colony) for the sole purpose of being carried to another country either by the same or another conveyance;
(e) * Import' means to bring or cause to be brought into the Colony by land, air or water;
