ORDINANCE No. 10 of 1933.

(VOLUNTEER

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Volunteer Ordinance, 1933, the General Officer Commanding the Troops, with the approval of the Officer Administering the Government after consultation with the Commandant of the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps, amends Regulation (5) of the Regulations published as Government Notification No. 696 in the Gazette of the 25th August. 1939. and Regulation (4) published as Government Notification No. 902 in the Gazette of the 6th October, 1939, as follows :-

Amendments.

1. The following proviso is added at the end of Regula- tion 3 (5)—

Provided however that. during the period that the provisions of the Compulsory Service Ordinance, 1939, con- tinue in force, and notwithstanding anything contained in the foregoing paragraph, all members of an Auxiliary unit shall attend such drills and instruction parades as may be ordered by the Commandant with the approval of the Governor and the General Officer Commanding the Troops.

2. Regulation 3 (4) is amended by the substitution of the words "forty-six years for the words "forty-one years in both cases in which the latter words occur.
