ORDINANCE No. 21 of 1939. (NOTE-ISSUING BANKS EXTENSION OF POWERS).
Resolution.
RESOLVED pursuant to the proviso to section 3 of the Note-issuing Banks Extension of Powers Ordinance, 1939. that this Legislative Council hereby extends the powers of all the note-issuing banks to make, issue, re-issue and circulate notes until and including the 12th day of July, 1941.

ORDINANCE No. 13 of 1935. (PUBLIC HEALTH
[FOOD]).
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Public Health (Food) Ordinance, 1935, the Urban Council makes the following amendments of the heading "Restaurants and Eating-houses" and the by-laws set forth thereunder in the Schedule to the said Ordinance :-

(1) The heading "Restaurants and Eating-houses is rescinded and the following heading substituted therefor; namely "Restaurants, Eating Houses and Food Stalls ".
(2) By-law 1 is rescinded and the following by-law is substituted therefor
1. Except under and in accordance with a licence granted by the Council for a Restaurant or Eating House, or for a Hawkers' Food Stall issued under Ordinance No. 22 of 1935, no person shall sell or expose for sale any article of cooked food for man usually sold or exposed for sale ready for immediate consumption. Such licence shall be in addition to any licence issued under the Liquors Ordinance, 1931.
