No. 560.-His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint Mr. ROLAND ARTHUR CHARLES NORTH to act as Colonial Secretary, with

effect from this date.

No. 561. His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint Mr. WILLIAM JAMES CARRIE to act as Secretary for Chinese Affairs, with effect from this date.

19th May, 1940.

No. 562.-His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint Mr. GEORGE STACY KENNEDY-SKIPTON to be Chairman of the Urban Council, with effect from this date.
