The following is published for general information:----

Procedure applicable to Export Licences relating to goods consigned to Europe.

On and after April 8th, shippers of goods consigned to Europe in respect of which an export licence has been issued by the Controller of Trade are requested to supply one copy of the export licence to the agent of the ship by which the goods are to be carried. After receipt of the copy export licence, the agent of the ship is requested to attach the said copy to the ship's manifest and enter the serial number of the licence against the relevant item in the manifest. The manifest properly annotated, with copy export licences attached, should be produced to the Superintendent of Imports and Exports not less than twelve hours before the ship sails.
