(6) Nothing in any order under paragraph (1) or para- graph (2) or in paragraph (3) of regulation 4 of these Regulations and nothing in regulation 2 of these Regulations shall apply in relation to any security to which an order or certificate under this regulation relates, and nothing in regulation 5 shall apply in relation to any amount of currency which an owner of any such security has become entitled as such to recrive.

(4) For the purposes of this regulation, the expression security includes a deposit receipt in respect of the deposit

8. -(1) Stamp duty shall not be chargeable on any Exemption security by reason only of the assignment, transfer or nego- tiation thereof to the Commissioners for the time being of His Majesty's Treasury in the United Kingdom or to the Colonial Treasurer Incorporated, and shall not be chargeable--
(d) on any instrument whereby any security is assigned or transferred to the Commissioners or the Colonial Treasurer Incorporated (whether on sale or otherwise), or
(b) on any contract note for, or relating to, any sale of securities to the Commissioners or the Colonial Treasurer Incorporated.
(2) This regulation applies only in relation to assign- ments transfers, negotiations or sales of securities effected during the continuation in force of this regulation, whether in compliance with these Regulations or otherwise.

(3) In this regulation the expression has the meaning assigned to the expression "share contract note" in section 3 (28) of the Stamp Ordinance, 1921.

9. The provisions of the Defence Regulations of the Application Colony for the time being in force shall apply for the purpose Regulations of the enforcement of these Regulations, and otherwise in of the relation thereto, as if any reference in those Regulations included a reference to these Regulations.
