Order.
I, ROBERT ANDREW DERMOD FORREST, Postmaster General of this Colony, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in me by the Defence Regulations, 1939, hereby make the following order---
Except as provided in this order, the use in this Colony of wireless transmitting apparatus is prohibited.
This order shall not apply to—
(1) the use of apparatus by or on behalf of the Imperial Government or the Government of this Colony;
limits
(2) the use of ships' wireless outside the following
(a) on the east a straight line drawn from Cape Collin- son through Tathong Channel to the south coast of Jan Chau, otherwise known as Slope Island;
(b) on the west: a straight line drawn from the western- most point of the island of Hong Kong to the northernmost point of the island of Kau I Chau and thence a straight line drawn true north to the mainland;
(3) the use of such other apparatus as the Postmaster General may, either generally or for a particular occasion, specially permit, if the apparatus is used only under and in accordance with the terms of the permission.

It is hereby notified that CoNSTANTINE CONSTANTINOVICH PETROVSKY has been re-assigned from the Key-Posts Group to the General Group for Essential Services in the Hong Kong Defence Reserve under the provisions of the Compulsory Service Ordinance, 1939.
