Regulations made by the Governor in Council under section 8 (1) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Ordinance, 1935, Ordinance No. 44 of 1975, as amended by section 2 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Amendment Ordinance, 1939, Ordinance No. 16 of 1939, dated 9th December, 1939.
Resolution made and passed by the Legislative Council under section 3 of the Public Officers (Changes of Style) Ordinance, 1937, Ordinance No. 25 of 1987, on the 14th December, 1939.
Trading with the Enemy (Specified Persons) (Amendment) Order, 1939, made by the Governor, with the prior approval of the Secretary of State, under section 3 (2) of the Trading with the Enemy Ordinance, 1914, Ordinance No. 25 of 1914, as amended by regulation 2 of the Trading with the Enemy Ordinance, 1914, Amendment Regulations, 1939, dated 9th December, 1939.
Proclamation No. 17.----Revocation of Proclamation No. 6 of 14th July, 1939.

MOTIONS.
That the by-laws made by the Urban Council under sections 5 and 6 of the Public Health (Food) Ordinance, 1935, on the 5th day of December, 1939, amending the by-laws in the Schedule to that Ördinance under the heading "Sale of Milk generally and Dairies and Milk Shops ", be approved.
The Financial Secretary seconded.

6. Registration of Dentists Bill.--The Attorney General addressed the Council and moved the First reading of a Bill intituled "An Ordinance to provide for the Registration of Dentists.”

7. Waterworks Amendment Bill.-The Attorney General addressed the Council and moved the First reading of a Bill intituled "An Ordinance to amend the Waterworks Ordinance, 1938."
