ORDINANCE No. 15 of 1935. (PUBLIC HEALTH

[SANITATION]).

It is hereby notified that under Section 73 (4) of the Public Health (Sanitation) Ordinance, 1935, His Excellency the Governor in Council has ordered that the New Kowloon Cemetery No. 5, shall be closed from and after 1st March, 1940.

ORDINANCE No. 32 of 1915. (IMPORTATION AND EXPORTATION).

Prohibition of importation of certain merchandise from Macao.

In exercise of the powers in him vested the Governor in Council amends the prohibition against the import of certain merchandise from Macao published as G.N. No. 28 in the Government Gazette of the 12th January, 1940, as follows:-

1. In the proviso to the said prohibition the words

wherever fieldglasses are added after the word camera that word appears therein.

2. The following is added immediately after the said proviso :-

Provided further that the above prohibition shall not apply to medicines and cloths which the Superintendent of Imports and Exports is satisfied are manufactured in Macao or in China, or to any machinery or electrical apparatus imported into the Colony from Macao for the purpose of being repaired and returned to Macao.
