By order of His Excellency the Governor dated the 29th day of January, 1940, Mr. ERIC SYDNEY CLIFFORD BROOKS of Messrs. Hastings & Co. was appointed liquidator of the affairs of Mrs. Alice Jochheim.

ORDINANCE No. 22 of 1910. (MIDWIVES).
In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 4 of the Midwives Ordinance, 1910, the Midwives Board further amends the Regulations to the said Ordinance appearing on pages 623-627 in Vol. II of the Regulations of Hong Kong (1937 edition).
Amendments.
1. Regulation 2 (iv) is rescinded and the following is substituted therefor :-
"(iv) that she holds the Upper Primary Certificate or its equivalent, or has passed the examination of the Nurses Board of Hong Kong".
2. Regulation 2E (i) is rescinded and the following is substituted therefor:-
CC
(i) any licensing body in any British Dominion, Colony or Protectorate whose certificate is recognized by the Govern- ment concerned, (other than a Class B Certificate of the Straits Settlements); or ".
