Order under section 75 (8) of the Public Health

(Sanitation) Ordinance, 1935, Ordinance No. 15 of 1935, made by the Colonial Secretary on the 29th day of February, 1910.

WHEREAS I, NORMAN LOCKHART SMITH, Esquire, Com- panion of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Colonial Secretary of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies, deem it expedient for the execution of a public purpose to remove all graves in Hau Pui Lung Cemetery,NOW, 1, by this Order under my hand, by virtue of the power in that behalf vested in me by Section 75 (8) of the Public Health (Sanitation) Ordinance, 1935, DO HEREBY ORDER AND DIRECT that the said graves be removed to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works by the Sanitary Department and that the remains removed from such graves shall be re-interred or disposed of in such manner as the Secretary for Chinese Affairs in consultation with the Chairman, Urban Council, and the Board of Direction of the Tung Wah Hospital shall think fit and that all reason- able expenses in connexion with such removal, re-internent and disposal shall be defrayed out of the public revenue of the Colony.
