No. 4. It is hereby notified that Mr. THOMAS BLACK, resumed duty as Accountant- General, on 1st January, 1940.

No. 5. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Births and Deaths Registration Ordinance, No. 21 of 1934, to appoint Dr. NICOL CAMPBELL MACLEOD to be a Deputy Registrar of Births and Deaths, with effect from 22nd December, 1939.

No. 6. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under instructions from. the Right Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colonies, to appoint GEORGE GRAHAM-CUMMING, M.B., Ch.B. (Edin.), D.T.M. (Liv.), to be a Medical Officer, with effect from 1st January, 1940.
