No. S. 338.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in quintuplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for the supply of a Teakwood Single-Screw Diesel Engined Boat", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 3rd day of October, 1938.

The Boat is to be constructed in accordance with a plan and a specification which may be obtained at the Office of the Government Marine Surveyor, Harbour Oflice. sum of $100 is required to be deposited with the Accountant-General and the plan and specification will be available on production of the receipt for the above amount. The deposit will be released on the return of the plan and specification and the submission of a bona fide tender.
The boat and equipment are to be supplied of first quality material and workman- ship to the entire satisfaction of the Government Marine Surveyor.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

No. S. 339.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Argyle Street Extension", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's. Office until Noon of Monday, the 3rd day of October, 1938, for the work of widening the portion of Argyle Street between K.1.L. 3303 and Leven Road, and extending the portion between Leven Road and Ma Tau Chung Road, together with all contingent works.
The successful tenderer will be required to deposit the sum of $5,000 for the due and faithful performance of the work.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
