No. S. 304.---Tenders which should be in a sealed envelope, marked "Tenders for Ferries are hereby invited and will be accepted at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon on Thursday, the 15th September, 1938, for a licence for the exclusive main- tenance of ferry services for passengers and goods between Victoria, Cheung Chau, Tsuen Wan, Kap Shui Mun, Castle Peak, Tung Chung, Tai O, Ping Chau and Silver Mine Bay.
Fuller information as to the terms and conditions of the licence may be obtained on application to the Colonial Secretary where also a copy of the Ferries Regulations may be seen.
The highest or any offer of monthly rental tendered for the grant of this licence will not necessarily be accepted and Government reserves the right to issue a further invita- tion to tender.
