LIST OF APPROVED MANUFACTURERS IN HONG KONG.

With reference to Notice to Mariners No. 1/1937 published in Government Gazette No. 3 of the 22nd January, 1937, it is hereby notified that the firm of Messrs. Tung Hing, 5, Shan Tung Street, Yanmati, Kowloon, is struck off the list of firms approved as makers of Hong Kong Standard Cork Lifebuoys and Cork Lifejackets.

NOTICE OF FIRING PRACTICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DEFENCES (FIRING AREAS) ORDINANCE, 1936.

Firing practice will be carried out from Stonecutters Island between the hours of 8.00 p.m. and 12 midnight on 1st and 3rd September, 1938.

Firing Area "E" will be affected.

Spare days:-8th, 10th and 22nd September, 1938.

In accordance with sub-section 4 of section 4 of the Defences (Firing Areas) Ordinance, 1936, masters of vessels and pilots of aircraft exempt from the operation of this Ordinance under section 10, are warned to assist in the carrying out of the firing practice by hastening through the firing area affected, or by consenting to be towed out of the firing area, if necessary, by any vessel acting under the orders of the Military Authorities.
