No. 8. 262.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate which should be clearly marked "Tender for pump house buildings at Garden Road", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 22nd day of August, 1938. The work consists of the construction of a reinforced concrete and brick pump house and contingent works.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, with the Accountant-General, the sum of $500 in cash.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

No. S. 263.--It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate which should be clearly marked "Tender for Shing Mun Catchwater (2nd Section)", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 22nd day of August, 1938. The work consists of the construction of the second section of a catchwater draining the Southern Slopes of Tai Mo Shan, and contingent works.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, with the Accountant-General, the sum of $10,000 in cash.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office. The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT.
No. S. 264.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate which should be clearly marked "Tender for Isolation Block, Kowloon Hospital", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 22nd day of August, 1938. The building to be erected has a single storey containing wards and lavatories, etc., and is constructed of brick with a tiled roof.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $500 with the Accountant-General which sum will be retained for a period of six months from the date of completion of the works in lieu of the usual retention money.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
