PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT.

No. S. 224.It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate which should be clearly marked "Tender for Asphaltic roofing for the New Central Market", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Tuesday, the 2nd day of August, 1938. The work consists of supplying and laying Asphaltic built-up roofing.

As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $300 with the Accountant-General.

No work will be permitted on Sundays.

For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

No. S. 225.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate which should be clearly marked 'Tender for Public Latrine at Tytam Village ", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Tuesday, the 2nd day of August, 1938. The work consists of the erection of a flush latrine and septic tank, etc.

As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $500 with the Accountant-General which sum will be retained for a period of six months from the date of completion of the works in lieu of the usual retention money.

No work will be permitted on Sundays.

For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT.

No. 8. 226.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Pump House and Gauge Basin at Albany", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Tuesday, the 2nd day of August, 1938. The work consists of the construction of a concrete and brick pump house and contingent works.

As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, with the Accountant-General, the sum of $500 in cash.

No work will be permitted on Sundays.

For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
