PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT.
No. S. 155.—It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Alterations to Public Latrines at Belcher's Street and Hing Wan Street", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Tuesday, the 7th day of June, 1938. The work consists of installing water flushed trough systems.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $400 with the Accountant-General which sum will be retained for a period of six months from the date of completion of the works in lieu of the usual retention money.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
