No. S. 149. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate which should be clearly marked "Tender for Construction of Temporary Terminal Building at Kai Tak", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 30th day of May, 1938. The work comprises the construction of a timber building at Kai Tak Airport and a wooden covered gangway 160′ 0′′ long leading to the pier and other contingent works.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $400 with the Accountant-General.
For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

No. S. 150. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate which should be clearly marked "Tender for Steel windows for the New Central Market", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 30th day of May, 1938. The work consists of the manufacture of steel windows to detail design.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $1,000 with the Accountant-General which sum will be retained for a period of six months from the date of completion of the works in lieu of the usual retention money.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
