No. 8. 84. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in quintuplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for repairs to No. 3 Police Launch", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 28th day of March, 1938.
A list of work may be obtained at the Assistant Government Marine Surveyor's Office, Government Slipway, Yaumati.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
The work to be carried out to the satisfaction of the Government Marine Surveyor, and to be duly completed within the number of working days specified by the tender to commence from the date of handing over of the launch to tenderers for repair; failing completion within such time deduction will be made from the contract price, by way of liquidated damages for delay, at the rate of $30 for each and every subsequent day until and including the date of due completion of the work.

NOTIFICATION OF FIRING PRACTICE SEAWARDS.
Firing practice will take place seawards from the neighbourhood of Ping Long Wan on 3rd April, 1938, between the hours of 0900 hours and 1500 hours.
The area in which firing will take place is bounded by the following:
South point of Jin Island, Collinson Head, (Bluff Island), Steepcliff Head (Basalt Island), Trio Islands, Lung Ha-wan Point, Ngam Tau Sha, to South point of Shelter Island thence to South point of Jin Island.

No. 191.-It is hereby notified for general information that, pursuant to section 5 of the Criminal Procedure Ordinance, 1899, His Honour the Chief Justice has ordered that the next Criminal Sessions for the despatch of the business of the Court shall be held on Monday, the 21st day of March, 1938, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon.
