No. S. 80.-It is hereby notified that the following Sale of Crown Land by Public Auction will be held at the District Office, Tai Po, at 11.30 a.m., on Tuesday, the 22nd day of March, 1938.
The Lot is sold for the term of seventy-five years from the 1st day of July, 1898, with the right of renewal for a further term of 24 years less 3 days at a re-assessed Crown Rent as a Building and Garden Lot, subject to the General Conditions of Sale published in Government Notification No. 364 of 1934, and Special Conditions Nos. 1 (a) and (c), in the above-mentioned Government Notification, and further to the Special Conditions hereunder specified.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS.
1. The purchasers shall pay to Government and the licensees of Forestry Lots 17 and 273 the sums of $90, $210 and $30 respectively as compensation for pine trees growing on the lot.
2. Should any exhumations on the lot become necessary, arrangements therefor shall be made through the District Officer with the descendants of the deceased persons.
3. A right of way shall be left open over the paths crossing the lot, as shown by double dotted lines on the sale plan.
4. The Crown shall be under no obligation to provide a water supply to the lot. All arrangements for water supply shall be made by the purchasers themselves, subject to the approval of the District Officer.
5. The purchaser shall, within 3 years of the date of sale, convert an area of not less than half an acre of the lot into building land, the conversion premium to be assessed by the District Officer according to the price of land current in the neighbourhood. The Building Covenant for the area so converted shall be in accordance with the approved scale.
6. The purchasers shall, within 6 years of the date of sale, convert a total area of not less than 1 acre of the lot into building land, the conversion premium to be assessed by the District Officer according to the price of land current in the neighbourhood. The Building Covenant for the area so converted shall be in accordance with the approved scale.
7. No transfer of the whole or any portion of the lot shall be effected before the Building Covenants mentioned in Special Conditions 5 and 6 above have been fulfilled to the satisfaction of the District Officer.
