8. Fire and Marine Insurance Companies Deposit Amendment Bill.-The Attorney

General moved the Second reading of the Bill intituled

An Ordinance to

amend the Fire and Marine Insurance Companies Deposit Ordinance, 1917."

9. Colonial Treasurer Incorporation Bill.--The Attorney General moved the Second reading of the Bill intituled "An Ordinance to incorporate the Colonial Treasurer."

10. Pauenbrokers Bill.-The Attorney General moved the Second reading of the Bill intituled "An Ordinance to amend the law relating to pawnbrokers."

In clause 16 the last fourteen words were deleted.

On Council resuming, the Attorney General reported that the Bill had passed through Committee and, the amendment being held to be immaterial, hic moved that it be read a third time.

11. Criminal Procedure Amendment Bill.-The Attorney General moved the Second reading of the Bill intituled " An Ordinance to amend the Criminal Procedure Ordinance, 1899.”

8 the number "16" should be inserted in the marginal note to the proposed new sec. 79 (1).
