The rainfall for the month of June at the Botanical Gardens was 15ins. '00 on 21 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 9ius. 91 on 11 days, at Fanling, it was 9ins. 06 on 13 days, at the Royal Naval Hospital, Hong Kong, it was 15ins. 35 on 15 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, it was 11ins. 90 on 21 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 592 at 17 on the 30th. The maximum gust velocity, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 54 miles per hour at 20h. 52m. on the 8th.
