No. 1081. Tenders will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 4th day of January, 1907, for the repair of the Hospital Hulk Hygeia.
Specifications can be obtained at the Government Marine Surveyor's Office. Repairs to be executed to the satisfaction of the Government Marine Surveyor. The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

FORMOSA.
PETOU-KAKU LIGHTHOUSE.
Notification No. 106.
NOTICE is hereby given that the present Light on Peton-kaku (East coast of Formosá) ́will be discontinned during the removal work of the Lighthouse, which is to be commenced shortly, and in lien thereof a Fixed Red Temporary Light (dioptric one), with a power of about 100 Candles, will be shown from the top of a Wooden Staff erected 15 feet to the North-east of the Lighthouse. The Elevation of the Light above the sea will be 180 feet and the Light will be visible, in fine weather, at a distance of 6 nautical miles.
Further Notice will be issued when the date of the removal has been fixed.
