Regulation made by the Governor in Council under section 3 (1) of the Watchmen Ordinance, 1928, Ordinance No, 6 of 1928, on the 18th day of February, 1930.

The regulations made by the Governor in Council under section 3 of the Watchmen Ordinance, 1928, on the 12th day of April, 1928, and published in the Gazette of the 13th April, 1928, as Government Notification No. 192, are hereby amended as follows: --

(I) by the substitution of "Inspector General of Police" for "Captain Superin-

tendent of Police", throughout; and

(2) by the insertion of the following regulation next after regulation 19,-

20. Those regulations shall not apply to village scouts or village guards allowed by the Inspector General of Police to register themselves in the Watchmen's Register as police watchmen.

No. 113. His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint, under section 9 (4) of the Liquors Consolidation Ordinance, 1911, Ordinance No. 9 of 1911, Mr. HuGH BLACKWELL LAYARD DowBIGGIN, J.P., to be a Member of the Licensing Board for a further period of three years, with effect from 10th December, 1929.

No. 114. His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint, under section 3 of the Dentistry Ordinance, 1914, Ordinance No. 16 of 1914, Dr. STUART SEGUIN STRAHAN, M.B., B.Ch. (Oxon.), to be a Member of the Dental Board for a further period of three years, with effect from 6th January, 1930.

No. 115.-Under section 113 of the Companies Ordinances, 1911-1929, it is hereby notified for general information that, in addition to those already notified, the following have made applications to be appointed auditors for the purposes of the Com- panies Ordinances, 1911-1929, and that they are, in my opinion, qualified to perform the duties required by the said Ordinances to be performed by an auditor :-
