Nature of Measures.
Inspections outside Manila harbour from 20th April. Third class passengers and new crew must comply with the vaccination requirements.
Inspections outside the ports from 1st April. Stecrage passengers must comply with the vaccination require- ments. Cabin passengers must produce a vaccina- tion certificate or be vaccinated by ships doctor or quarantine authorities,
Vessels detained at river mouth and passengers and crew vaccinated unless they can produce evidence of successful recent vaccination.
Ve-sels arriving at Manila or Cebu (or at other ports of entry in the Philippine Islands) having loaded rice or peanuts (ground nuts) at Hong Kong must be fumigated immediately upon arrival and prior to the discharge of cargo. At present fumigation can he performed only at Manila and Cebu.
