LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL.
No. 443.-His Majesty the King has not been advised to exercise his power of dis- allowance with respect to the following Ordinances :---
Ordinance No. 3 of 1918.—An Ordinance to prohibit exhibitions, publications, and advertisements of an indecent, obscene, revolting, or offensive nature.
Ordinance No. 8 of 1918.-An Ordinance to provide that with certain exceptions no person shall reside within the Peak District without the consent of the Governor in Council.

No. 444.-His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased, under instructions from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, to recognise Mr. JOSÉ MIGUEL ALVES as Consul for Brazil in Hongkong.

No. 445. His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint Mr. SEEN WAN TSÓ to be a Member of the Sanitary Board for a term of three years with effect from the 15th November, 1918, vice Mr. NG HON-TSZ resigned.
