And Whereas by Proclamations made on the 4th day of November, 1914, 3rd February, 30th April, 30th July, and 29th October, 1915, 2nd February, 2nd May, 28th July, and 27th October, 1916, 2nd February, 2nd May, 2nd August, and 2nd November, 1917, and 3rd February, and 26th April, 1918, the said declaration was renewed for a period of three months from time to time:
And Whereas by a Proclamation made on the 26th day of July 1918 the said declaration was renewed for a period of three months from the 3rd day of August 1918:
And Whereas the said period of three months will expire on the 3rd day of November 1918 Now therefore I, CLAUD SEVERN, Companion of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, the Officer Administering the Government of the Colony of Hongkong and its Dependencies, being of opinion that the necessity of His Majesty's forces in the Colony being subject to the said Act continues do hereby declare that by reason of the imminence of active service it is necessary for the public service that His Majesty's forces in this Colony be subject to the said Act for the further period of three months from and after the 3rd day of November 1918.

Order made by the Officer Administering the Government in Council under Sub- section (2) of Section 3 of the Trading with the Enemy (Extension of Powers) Ordinance, 1916, Ordinance No. 4 of 1916, on the 25th day of October, 1918.
The list which was published in the Gazette of the 21st July, 1916, of persons and bodies of persons, incorporated or unincorporated, with whom trading is prohibited by the Trading with the Enemy (Statutory List) Proclamation, Hongkong, 1916, No. 3, and which has been amended by lists published in various Gazettes, is hereby further amended by the variation and addition of the names set forth in the Schedule hereto :-
