No. 661.-The King's exequatur empowering Mr. JOHN THEOPHILUS BAGRAM to act as Honorary Consul-General for Siam at Hong Kong, has received His Majesty's signature.

No. 662.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under section 4 of the Midwives Ordinance, 1910, Ordinance No. 22 of 1910, to appoint Dr. DORASAMY KUMA- RASAMY PILLAI to be a member of the Midwives Board, vice Dr. RICHARD EDWARD TOTTENHAM, resigned.

No. 663.-The following Finding of the Marine Court of Enquiry held on the 11th December, 1929, to enquire into a charge of misconduct against Mr. A. J. Cordiner, 2nd Engineer of the British Steamship Porteurno, is published for general information.

FINDING.

We find that Mr. Alexander James Cordiner, Certificate of Competency as 1st Engineer No. 51651 of Southampton, whilst on the Articles as 2nd Engineer of the S. S. Porteurno of which Mr. Edward John Niblett, Certificate of Competency No. 032177 of Cardiff was Master, did commit an act of gross misconduct in that he on December 5th, 1929, whilst the S. S. Porteurno was discharging in Hong Kong Harbour was under the influence of liquor when on duty.

We therefore adjudge the aforesaid Mr. Alexander James Cordiner to be repri- manded.
