A complete list of notifications issued up to the end of 1917 was contained in Note (2) to Notifi- cation No. 8 of 1918, which was published in the Gazette of the 11th January, 1918.

NOTE (3).—Rule 37, published in the Gazette of the 8th December, 1916, prohibits the exportation of silver dollars and silver bullion, and Rule 38, published in the Gazette of the 4th May, 1916, prohibits the exportation of Chinese cash except to China.

NOTE (4).There are special restrictions on exportation to Switzerland. See Notification No. 535 which was published in the Gazette of the 7th December, 1917, and Notification No. 96 published in the Gazette of the 8th March, 1918.

NOTE (5).—The exportation of the goods mentioned in the above Schedule is prohibited as follows:-

(1) Goods marked (▲), to all destinations ;

(2) Goods marked (B), to all ports and destinations abroad other than ports and destina-

tions in the United Kingdom and British Possessions and Protectorates ;

(3) Goods marked (c), to all destinations in European and Asiatic Russia and in other foreign countries in Europe and on the Mediterranean, except France and French Possessions, Italy and Italian Possessions, Spain and Portugal, and to all ports in any such foreign countries;

(4) Goods marked (D), to all ports and. destinations other than ports and destinations in the United Kingdom, British Possessions and Protectorates, France and French Possessions, Russia, Italy and Italian Possessions, and to all Russian Baltic ports; (5) Goods marked (E), to all ports and destinations other than ports and destinations in

the United Kingdom.

(6) Goods marked (F), to all ports and destinations in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and the

Netherlands.

NOTE (6).--Application may be made to the Superintendent of Imports and Exports for informa- tion as to the conditions on which special licences will be granted for the exportation of prohibited articles.

Regulations made by the Superintendent of Imports and Exports under section 14 of the Copyright Act, 1911, 1 & 2 Geo. 5, c. 46, as modified by section 2 of the Copyright Ordinance, 1918, Ordinance No. 11 of 1918, on the 11th day of September, 1918, and approved by the Officer Administering the Government in Council on the 19th day of September, 1918.

1. The notice in writing to be given to the Superintendent of Imports and Export- (hereinafter referred to as the said Superintendent) under section 14 of the Copyrighs Act, 1911, as modified by section 2 of the Copyright Ordinance, 1918, by the owner of the copyright in any book or other printed work in which copyright subsists under the Copyt right Act, 1911, or his agent, who is desirous that copies thereof printed or reprinted out of the Colony shall not be imported into the Colony, shall be in the Form No. 1 of the Schedule hereto or as near thereto as circumstances permit.

2. The notice in writing to be given to the said Superintendent under section 14 of the Copyright Act, 1911, as modified by section 2 of the Copyright Ordinance, 1918, by the owner of the copyright in any work (other than a book or other printed work) in which copyright subsists under the Copyright Act, 1911, or his agent, who is desirous that copies thereof made out of the Colony shall not be imported into the Colony, may be either a general notice in the Form No. 2 in the Schedule hereto or as near thereto as circumstances permit or a special notice in the Form No. 3 in the same Schedule relating to a particular importation.

3. Every notice given in pursuance of these Regulations in the Form No. 1 or No. 2 in the Schedule hereto shall be accompanied by a statutory declaration in the Form No. 4 in the same Schedule.
