EXECUTIVE COUNCIL.

No. 625.

Regulation made by the Governor in Council under section 3 (1) of the Wireless Telegraphy Ordinance, 1926, Ordinance No. 11 of 1926, on the 29th day of November, 1929.

The Wireless Telegraphy Regulations set forth in Government Notification No. 375 published in the Gazette of the 26th July, 1929, are hereby amended by making the following addition to regulation 14,----

Provided that for every ship station licence, broadcast receiving licence, and dealer's licence issued in the 2nd quarter (April-June), 3rd quarter (July-September) or 4th quarter (October-December) of any year the respective licence fees therefor, herein before specified, shall be reduced by 1, or respectively, as the case may be: Provided also that no refund shall be allowed upon any licence fee or reduced licence fee prescribed by these regulations, nor shall any further or other reduction be made by the licensing authority.

Order made by the Governor in Council under section 43 of the Distress for Rent Ordinance, 1883, Ordinance No. 1 of 1883, on the 5th day of December, 1929.

The First Schedule to the Distress for Rent Ordinance, 1883, is hereby amended as follows:-

in the paragraph below the table or scale of fees, the words "60 cents per day " are substituted for the words "50 cents per day ".

Regulations made by the Governor in Council under section 3 of the Industrial Employment of Women, Young Persons and Children Ordinance, 1922, Ordinance No. 22 of 1922, on the 3rd day of December, 1929.

1. Regulation 1 of the regulations in the Schedule to the said Ordinance is amended by the addition of the following to the list of dangerous trades:-

Lead processes.

Vermilion manufacture.

2. Regulation 2 of the said regulations is amended by the insertion of the words. "young person or" immediately before the word “child "."
