APPOINTMENTS, &c.

No. 464.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint a Harbour Board to advise the Government of Hong Kong in any matter concerning the Harbour of Victoria as to which the advice of the Board may be sought by His Excellency.

The following gentlemen will constitute this Board:-

The Honourable the Harbour Master, Chairman.

The Honourable the Secretary for Chinese Affairs.

The llonourable the Director of Public Works.

The Honourable the Director of Medical and Sanitary Services.

The Honourable the Captain Superintendent of Police.

The Manager of the Railway.

The Superintendent of Imports and Exports.

Mr. M. T. JOHNSON.

SUPREME COURT

No. 465. It is hereby notified that at the expiration of three months from the date hereof The LEE WING COMPANY, LIMITED will, unless cause is shewn to the contrary, be struck off the register and the company will be dissolved.

SUPREME COURT.

No. 466.-The Offices of the Supreme Court will be open daily from 10 a.m. to I p.m. during the Long Vacation, except on Public and General Holidays, when the offices will be entirely closed, and on Saturdays, when they will be open from 10 a.m. to noon, subject, however, to the provisions of section 5 of the Supreme Court (Vacations) Ordinance, 1898, so far as it relates to the Criminal Sessions. The Long Vacation com- mences on the 20th September, and terminates on the 17th October, 1929, (both days inclusive).
