EXECUTIVE COUNCIL.

No. 365. It is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor in Council has given directions for the rescission of the Order of the 7th May, 1929, published in the Gazette of the 10th May, 1929, as Government Notification No. 231, declaring Bangkok to be a place at which an infectious or contagious disease prevailed, and the same is hereby rescinded.

No. 366.-The Court of the University of Hong Kong, on the 29th day of April, 1929, in exercise of the power in that behalf contained in section 14 of the University Ordinance, 1911, Ordinance No. 10 of 1911, amended the Statutes of the University as follows:-

(1) by the substitution. in line

"members" for the word

of paragraph I of statute 7, of the word

persons";

(2) by the substitution, in line 8 of paragraph 1 of statute 7, of "The three Chinese members of the Legislative Council" for 'The two Chinese members of the Legislative Council"; and

(83) by the substitution, in line 10 of paragraph 1 of statute 7, of "The Director of Medical and Sanitary Services for "The Principal Civil Medical Officer ".

The said amendments, having been allowed by the Governor in Council on the 15th day of July, 1929, become valid and operative on the publication of this notification.

NOTE.-The Statutes of the University are set forth in the Second Schedule to the University Ordinance, 1911. Earlier amendments will be found in Government Notifications Nos. 350 of 1925, 263 of 1926, 71 of 1927, 333 of 1928 and 58 of 1929, and Ordinance No. 4 of 1927.
