3. The Hon. the Officer Commanding the Troops, (Colonel WELLESLEY DOUGLAS STUDHOLME BROWNRIGG, D.S.Ö.), the Hon. the Colonial Secretary, (Mr. DAVID WILLIAM TRATMAN) and the Hon. the Colonial Treasurer, (Mr. MICHAEL JAMES BREEN), took the oath of allegiance and their seats as Members of Council.

6. The Hon. Mr. J. P. BRAGA, pursuant to notice, asked the following questions:-
1. What are the functions of the Subordinate Staff Sub-Committee?
2. Having regard to the fact that the Sub-Committee is composed entirely of official members, will the Government consider, favourably, in the interest of the public service, the enlargement of that Board by the inclusion of unofficial members also?
