His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. ARTHUR GEORGE MURCHISON FLETCHER to act as his Private Secretary, in addition to his other duties, during the absence on leave of Mr. RICHARD ARTHUR BRABAZON PONSONBY FANE or until further notice, with effect from the 10th July, 1918.

No. 259. The following persons shall, as from the date of publication of this List, be deemed to have been enrolled in, and to belong to, the General Military Service Force of Ilongkong:-

No. 260. With reference to Notification No. 253 published in the Gazette of the 5th July, 1918, the following additional regulations governing the entrance of vessels into Manila Bay and their departure therefrom are published for general information.
Vessels will be permitted to leave Manila Bay by the North Channel without restric- tion as to time, but at a speed not exceeding five knots.
Subic Bay being a closed port by Presidential Proclamation, no vessels, excepting certain specified ones, are permitted to enter.
No. 261. The following notification is published for general information.
TRADING WITH THE ENEMY AMENDMENT Act, 1916.
An Order has been made by the Board of Trade requiring the undermentioned business to be wound up :-

NOTE 1. -The above Order appeared in the London Gazette of the 19th April, 1918.
NOTE 2.-A list of Orders made under the above Act was published as a note to Notification 548 in the Hongkong Gazette of the 14th December, 1917. This list gives all the Orders published in the Hongkong Gazette up to the 31st December, 1917. Subsequent Orders have been published in the Hongkong Gazettes of the 25th January, 8th February, 10th, 17th, and 23rd May, 21st June, and 12th July, 1918.
