No. 222.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint, under the provisions of section 10 of the Medical Registration Ordinance, 1884, Ordinance No. 1 of 1884, Doctor GEORGE DUNCAN RALPH BLACK to be a Member of the Medical Board for a further term of three years, with effect from 1st March, 1929.

No. 223. His Excellency the Governor has, under instructions from the Secre- tary of State for the Colonics, been pleased to recognise Mr. JOHN MANNERS as honorary Vice-Consul for the Republic of Finland in Hong Kong.

With reference to Government Notification No. 28, the Counsellors of State on behalf of His Majesty the KING have been pleased to approve the appointment of the Honourable Commander GEORGE FRANCIS HOLE, R.N., (Retired), to be an Official Member of the Legislative Council during his tenure of office as Harbour Master.

No. 225.--With reference to Government Notification No. 61, the Counsellors of State on behalf of His Majesty the KING have been pleased to approve the appointment of the Honourable Dr. ARTHUR ROBARTES WELLINGTON, M.R.C.S. (Eng.), L.R.C.P. (Lond.), D.P.II., & D.T.M. and H. (Cantab.), to be an Official Member of the Legislative Council during his tenure of office as Director of Medical and Sanitary Services.
