The rainfall for the month of March at the Botanical Gardens was in. 91 on 3 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was (in. 97 on 4 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, it was (in. 08 on 1 day.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 813 at 17h. on the 25th.
The maximum gust velocity, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 36 miles per hour at 15h. 50m. on the 29th.
