NOTE (2) ---Rule 41 (Military Stores) was published in the Gazette of the 18th August, 1916, and amended in the Gazette of the 19th October, 1917. Amendments of the schedule to that rule were published in various numbers of the Gazette, and a consolidating schedule was published in the Gazette of the 10th August, 1917.
The prohibitions now in force are contained in the notifications published on the following dates:-

NOTE (3).---Rule 37, published in the Gazette of the 8th December, 1916, prohibits the exportation of silver dollars and silver bullion, and Rule 38, published in the Gazette of the 4th May, 1916, prohibits the exportation of Chinese cash except to China.
NOTE (4)There are special restrictions on exportation to Switzerland. See Notification No. 535 which was published in the Gazette of the 7th December, 1917, and Notification No. 96 published in the Gazette of the 8th March, 1918.
NOTE (5).-The exportation of the goods mentioned in the above Schedule is prohibited as follows:-
(1) Goods marked (a), to all destinations;
(2) Goods marked (B), to all ports and destinations abroad other than ports and destina-
tions in the United Kingdom and British Possessions and Protectorates ;
(3) Goods marked (c), to all destinations in foreign countries in Europe and on the Mediterranean and Black Seas, other than France and French Possessions, Russia, Italy and Italian Possessions, Spain and Portugal, and to all ports in any such foreign countries, and to all Russian Baltic ports;
(4) Goods marked (D), to all ports and destinations other than ports and destinations in the United Kingdom, British Possessions and Protectorates, France and French Possessions, Russia, Italy and Italian Possessions, and to all Russian Baltic ports ; (5) Goods marked (E), to all ports and destinations other than ports and destinations in
the United Kingdom.
(6) Goods marked (r), to all ports and destinations in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and the
Netherlands.
NOTE (6). --Application may be made to the Superintendent of Imports and Exports for informna- tion as to the conditions on which special licences will be granted for the exportation of prohibited Articles.
