No. 60.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under instructions received from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, to appoint ARTHUR ROBARTES WELLINGTON, M.R.C.S. (Eng.), L.R.C.P. (Lond.), D.P.H., & D.T.M. and H. (Cantab.), to be Director of Medical and Sanitary Services, with effect from the 4th February, 1929.

No. 61.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint, provisionally and subject to His Majesty's pleasure, ARTHUR ROBARTES WELLINGTON, M.R.C.S. (Eng.), L.R.C.P. (Lond.), D.P.H., & D.T.M. and H. (Cantab.), to be an Official Member of the Legislative Council during his tenure of office as Director of Medical and Sanitary Services, with effect from 4th February, 1929.

No. 62. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under instructions received from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, to appoint WILLIAM BROWNLOW ASHE MOORE, L.R.C.P., L.R.C.S. (Ire.), D.T.M. & H. (Lond.), to be Deputy Director of Medical and Sanitary Services, with effect from 1st February, 1928.

No. 63.--Mr. JOHN ROSKRUGE WOOD having returned to the Colony resumed duty as Puisne Judge on the 1st February, 1929.

No. 64.-It is hereby notified that Mr. PHILIP JACKS resumed duty as Land Officer on 1st February, 1929.

SUPREME COURT.

No. 65.—The Offices of the Supreme Court will be open daily from 10 a.m. to I p.m. during the Chinese New Year Vacation, except on Public and General Holidays, when the offices will be entirely closed, subject, however, to the provisions of section 5 of the Supreme Court (Vacation) Ordinance, 1898, so far as it relates to the Criminal Sessions. The Chinese New Year Vacation commences on the 11th February, 1929, and terminates on the 15th February, 1929, (both days inclusive).
