The rainfall for the month of April at the Botanical Gardens was 4.13 on 10 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 4.41 on 9 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, it was 465 on 11 days.

SUPREME COURT.
No. 177.-It is hereby notified for general information that, pursuant to Section 5 of the Criminal Procedure Ordinances, 1899-1913, His Honour the Chief Justice has ordered that the next Criminal Sessions for the despatch of the business of the Court shall be held on Tuesday, the 21st day of May, 1918, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon.
