In clause 2 the words "sub-section (5) were substituted for the words "sub-

section (1)" in the last line of section 96 (8).

On Council resuming, the Attorney General reported that the Bill had passed

through Committee and moved that it be read a third time as amended.

7. Carriage of Goods by Sea Bill.--The Attorney General moved the Second reading of the Bill intituled “An Ordinance to amend the law with respect to the carriage of goods by sea."

In the last line but one of Article II of the Schedule the word "rights" was sub-

stituted for the word "right.

8. United Kingdom Designs Protection_Bill.-The Attorney General moved the Second reading of the Bill intituled “An Ordinance to protect the registered proprietor of any design registered in the United Kingdom."

9. Public Health and Buildings Amendment Bill.-The Attorney General moved the Second reading of the Bill intituled "An Ordinance to amend further the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance, 1903.”

In clause 8, the words "or of any Assistant Colonial Veterinary Surgeon" were

deleted from section 82 (1).
