Regulation made by the Governor in Council under section 3 of the Vehicles and Traffic Regulation. Ordinance, 1912, Ordinance No. 40 of 1912, on the 17th day of January, 1929.
The regulations made by the Governor in Council under the Vehicles and Traffic Regulation Ordinance, 1912, and set forth on pages 617-655 of the Regulations of Hong Kong, 1814-1925, under the heading "Traffic Regulations", amended as appears in Government Notifications Nos. 368 of 1926, 331 of 1927 and 586 of 1928, are hereby further amended by the insertion, next after regulation 87 (on page 634), of the following regulation:-
87A. On and after the first day of July, 1929, every motor vehicle with left hand drive shall be provided with a mechanical device, to the satisfac- tion of the Captain Superintendent of Police, and in good working order, for indicating the direction to be taken by such vehicle.

No. 30.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint, provisionally and subject to His Majesty's pleasure, Mr. JOSÉ PEDRO BRAGA and Mr. Tso SEEN-WAN, O.B.E., LL.D., to be Unofficial Members of the Legislative Council, with effect from 17th January, 1929.

No. 31.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Dr. HUGH ALDERSON FAWCETT to act as Medical Officer of Health during the absence on leave of Dr. GEORGE WILLIAM POPE, with effect from the 19th January, 1929.
