PROCLAMATION.

MAINTENANCE ORDERS (FACILITIES FOR ENFORCEMENT) ORDINANCE, 1921.

By His Excellency Sir CECIL CLEMENTI Knight Commander of the Most Dis- tinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same.

Whereas it is provided by section 12 of the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Ordinance 1921 that where the Governor is satisfied that reciprocal provi- sions have been made by the legislature of any British possession for the enforcement within such possession of maintenance orders made by Courts in Hong Kong the Governor may by Proclamation extend the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforce- ment) Ordinance 1921 to maintenance orders made by courts within such possession and that thereupon the said Ordinance shall apply to such maintenance orders as if they had been made in England or Ireland :

And whereas I am satisfied that such reciprocal provisions have been made by the legislature of the Territory for the Seat of Government of the Commonwealth of Australia:

Now therefore I Sir CECIL CLEMENTI Knight Commander of the Most Distin- guished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same, do hereby by this Proclamation extend the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Ordi- nance 1921 to maintenance orders made by courts in the Territory for the Seat of Government of the Commonwealth of Australia.
