8. No person shall enter any garden or enclosure in pursuit of any bird or animal, unless permission has been obtained from the owners.
9. No hunting of any bird or animal under protection shall be allowed. But this shall not apply to cases where due permission has been granted by the Civil Adminis- tration Bureau for purposes of research or for other special reasons.
10. Hunting shall only be allowed between 1st October and the end of March, which period may be extended for not more than a month on the recommendation of the local Authorities for any particular reasons.
11. Anybody who commits breaches of Articles 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 10 shall be liable to a fine of $20-$50.
12. Anybody who commits a breach of Articles 7 and 9 shall be able to a fine of $10-$20.
13. Anybody who commits a breach of Articles 4 and 8 shall be liable to a fine of $5-$10.
14. Any place in any district may be declared by the highest Authorities there, after consultation in writing with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, as a place where these regulations shall not apply.
15. These regulations shall be enforced from the date of their publication.
SUPPLEMENTARY RULES.
1. As regards the locality in which it is desired to hunt as specified in Regulation No. 2 of the Kwengtung Provisional Hunting Regulations, hunters must state clearly the district (hsien) or municipality (shih) in which the place in which they wish to hunt lies. The sphere of action is limited to three districts at the most and shall not be in vague or general terms in the application.
2. Fees for hunting certificates as laid down in the Regulations must be paid in the Central Bank notes of this province.
3. Persons whose object is trade must say so clearly when applying for certificates and apart from the fee for a certificate must pay an additional trade licence fee of $10 (Central Bank notes) so that a trade licence may be issued.
4. The time during which hunting is carried on is limited to the period between sunrise and sunset.
5. The varieties of birds and animals which are protected as laid down in Regula- tion No. 9 of the Kwangtung Provisional Hunting Regulations and the seasons during which hunting is prohibited are as follows:

Crane, Swallow, Marsh-tit, Cale-tit, Great-tit, Nut-) Hunting prohibited
