His Excellency the Governor in Council has been pleased to direct, under Section 7 of the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance, 1903, Ordinance No. 1 of 1903, that the name of Mr. RENÉ GAUJOIN be added to the List of Authorized Architects published in Government Notification No. 98 of the 16th March, 1917.

COLONIAL SECRETARY'S DEPARTMENT.

No. 152. It is hereby notified that information has been received from the Secre- tary of State for the Colonies to the effect that, in view of the economic conditions arising out of the War, the late Russian Government considered it necessary on 24th October, 1917, to denounce the Anglo-Russian Treaty of Commerce and Navigation of 12th January, 1859, in order to be free to revise their commercial relations with other coun- tries. The Treaty will terminate accordingly on 24th October, 1918.

No. 153. It is hereby notified, with reference to Government Notification No. 113 of the 22nd March, 1918, that the Commodore has appointed Lieutenant FREDERICK MEDWAY, R.N., to be Officer in charge of the Examination Service during the absence of Lieutenant EDWARD TERENCE JOHNS, R.N.R., with effect from the 23rd April, 1918.
