EXECUTIVE COUNCIL.

No. 1013.-It is hereby notified that the Governor-in-Council has under Section 39 of the Tramways Ordinance, 1902, (Ordinance No. 10 of 1902), approved the absolute assignment by the Hongkong Tramway Electric Co., Ltd. (in Liquidation), of the whole of their undertaking as defined by the Ordinance to the Electric Traction Company of Hong- kong, Limited.

No. 1014. It is hereby notified that the Governor-in-Council has under Section 41 of the Tramways Ordinance, 1902, (Ordinance No. 10 of 1902), approved of the assignment by way of Mortgage by the Electric Traction Company of Hongkong, Limited, of the whole of their undertaking as defined by the Ordinance to the United Exploration Company, Limited, as security for the repayment of certain Mortgage debentures of the undertaking.

No. 1015. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to recognize, provisionally and pending the issue of His Majesty's Exequatur, Mr. TOKICHI TANAKA as Consul for Japan at Hongkong.

3rd December, 1906.

No. 1016.- His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint, under the provisions of Section 7 of the Public Health and Buildings Amendment Ordinance, 1903, (Ordinance No. 23 of 1903), THOMAS HYNES to be a Temporary Inspector (Second Class) in the Sanitary Department, with effect from the 6th instant.

No. 1017.-It is hereby notified that the CHINA EXPORT IMPORT AND BANK COM- PAGNIE, Victoria, Hongkong, have complied with the requirements of Ordinance 6 of 1898, for the registration in this Colony of their Mark No. 226 of 1906, as applied to Aniline dyes, in Class 1; and that the saine has been duly registered.
