Rules made by the Governor in Council under section 18 of the Prisons Ordinance, 1899, Ordinance No. 4 of 1899, on the 11th day of December, 1928.
The Prison rules made by the Governor in Council under section 18 of the Prisons Ordinance, 1899, and set forth on pages 181-257 of the Regulations of Hong Kong, 1844-1925, are hereby further amended as follows:-
(1) by the rescission of rule 239 (on page 225) and the substitution therefor of
the following rule, -
Taking of
measure- ment and
particulars.
239.
Such measurements, finger prints, marks, and parti- culars of any kind, shall be taken, on admission or at any other time, as the Superintendent shall direct.
(2) by the addition to rule 328 (on page 243) of the following paragraph,-
(3) Upon the release of any prisoner by reason of remission earned by him, his sentence or cumulative sentences, as the case may be, shall be deemed to have expired.

No. 667.—His Excellency the Governor in Council has been pleased to direct under section 7 of the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance, 1903, Ordinance No. 1 of 1903, that the name of Mr. VALENTINE JOHN ATKINS be added to the List of Authorized Architects published in Government Notification No. 643 of the 21st November, 1928.
