It is hereby notified that licence for a period of ten years commencing 6th November, 1928, has been granted by His Excellency the Governor in Council to the Hong Kong and New Territories Ferry Company, Limited, for the exclusive main- tenance of ferries within the area set out in regulation No. 1 (1) of the regulations under the Ferries Ordinance, 1917, published as Government Notification No. 585 of 26th October, 1928, in accordance with the following Schedule.

Subject to modification, extension and variation, as regards the services to be pro- vided, and time tables, by the Harbour Master and District Officer, South, acting jointly. Three months notice in writing of any alteration to be given to the Licensee. If the Licensee shall feel aggrieved by any such notice, and shall so require, the matter shall be referred to the Governor in Council whose decision shall be final.
