No. 611.-His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint Mr. DUDLEY LEONARD KING to be Deputy Superintendent and Adjutant. of the Police (Reserve).

No. 612.-His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint Mr. ERNEST ROADLEY DOVEY to be Assistant Superintendent of Police- (Reserve) and to be in command of the Sharp Shooters' Section Police Reserve.

No. 613.-His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has, in accordance with instructions received from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, been pleased to recognise Monsieur ALFREDO BIASTROCCHI as Consul-General for Italy in Hong Kong.

No. 614.- His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to re-appoint Mr. EDWARD LEWIS AGASSIZ to be Registrar of Trade Marks and Letters Patent in addition to his other duties, with effect from 1st November, 1928.

No. 615.-His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint Mr. EDWARD IRVINE WYNNE-JONES to be Police Magistrate, Kowloon, with effect from 12th November, 1928.

NOTICES.

COLONIAL SECRETARY'S DEPARTMENT.

No. 616.-Notice is hereby given that the Governor proposes to make an order under the Streets (Alteration) Ordinance, 1923, for Improving and widening that portion of Mount Kellett Road lying between Stubbs Road Peak and Rural Building Lot No. 82 (opposite Des Voeux Villas).

Any person objecting to the proposed order must send his objection in writing to the Colonial Secretary so as to reach the office of the Colonial Secretary not later than the 1st day of December, 1928.

Such objection must state the reasons therefor and specify the property with regard to the ownership or occupation of which such objection is made and the interest therein of the objector.
