Regulation made by the Governor in Council under section 3 of the Licensing Ordi- nance, 1887, Ordinance No. 8 of 1887, on the 10th day of November, 1928.
The regulations relating to hawkers set forth on pages 117 to 133 of the Regula- tions of Hong Kong, 1844-1925, amended as appears in Government Notifications Nos. 486 of 1927, 360 of 1928, and 583 of 1928, are hereby further amended as follows,—
(1) by the substitution of Second Schedule" for Third Schedule" in line
2 of regulation 5, on page 118.
"
(2) by the deletion of the heading "Third Schedule ", or page 132.

No. 625.-His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint Mr. ERNEST PHILIP HENRY LANG to be an Official Justice of the Peace for the Colony of Hong Kong.

No. 626.-His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appove of the promotion of Lieutenant JOHN CECIL MACGOWN, M.B., to the rank of Captain in the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps, with effect from the 13th November, 1928.
